I feel so trapped, like there's really not enough room or air to keep me alive here. The boredom, though a large part of it, is not even my biggest problem with the move. The people, though different, are all mostly the same. They're so clique-y. Everybody knows everybody and you have to win your way into a circle.
The boredom is starting to get to me. After a while, you run out of places to explore, abandoned buildings to break into, and streets to get lost on. To be perfectly honest, rather than the occasionally alive local music scene, and Sunday morning trips to the Coffee Station, the only thing to do in this run-down place is go to Wal-Mart.
The absolute worst thing, though, is the lack of room for differences in opinion. If you show up with the slightest varied thought in religion, politics, or whatever else you may argue about, you're instantly shunned, mothers warning their children to stay away from you. It is impossible to be your own person here, because if you don't conform, you'll be ran out by an angry mob.
I gotta get out of here...
